Travelers must present officially issued QR-coded certificates to prove they have received one of the approved Vaccines by the Egyptian Drug Authority and the WHO
The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced yesterday 23-06.2021 that the country will allow foreign travelers who have received their full dose of approved COVID-19 vaccines to enter without a PCR test.
In a statement to airports and ports, the ministry said that entry without a PCR test will be granted to those who received their full dose more than 14 days before traveling.
Guests coming directly or indirectly from Non affected countries of corona virus variants and holding a vaccination certificate indicating full vaccination not sooner than 14 days . Vaccination certificate :
must be acknowledged in the source county
must include QR code
Certificate details must be without any omission, correction or addition.
Certificates will be accepted after verification of issuing authority/source.
Accepted vaccinations are the ones approved by the WHO and after the period of 14 days from the 2nd dose of any of the following vaccines ( Pfizer , AstraZeneca, Moderne, Sinofarm, Sinovac or Spotnic) or after 14 days of 1st dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
However, travelers from high-risk countries including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Brazil, will have to take an ID NOW COVID-19 test on arrival, regardless of their vaccination status. If the result of that test is positive, a PCR test will be performed. If that test is also positive, the passenger will be transferred to a designated hospital to quarantine.
** Clients coming without vaccination certificate will have to follow the previously issued regulations, traveling to Cairo have to be with negative PCR test before arriving .
Travelers with direct flights to Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Sharm Elsheikh airports can do PCR test upon arrival in this Airports with 30 U$ .
